Balanced Mind – Balanced Life
E·quan·i·mous·ity
noun
noun: equanimosity
1. the quality or state of being calm and composed
If you want to live from a calmer and more composed state of being, the first question to ask is, “What is keeping me from being calm and composed?”.
You might say it’s the way people drive; it might be your co-workers not doing their job effectively, which makes you have to work that much harder; it might be having to ask your kids to put their lunch bags on the counter when they get home from school for the hundredth time, or it might be one of the many other things that wear at you during the course of the day.
I ask you this; what do all these things have in common? I’ll give you the answer. It’s you. You are the one getting upset about it. You are the one struggling to let it go. You are the one getting frustrated. But why? That’s what we’re here to help you figure out.
It’s time to take charge of your life. It’s time to join us on the path to equanimosity.
Our Programs
helping you improve
on all aspects
Equanimous Teen
The teen years are a time of change. Not only is the brain physically changing (neural pruning), but teens are learning to navigate through more complex relationships, the social dynamics of a new environment (secondary school), and trying to figure out where they belong in the world. This program is designed to give teens the skills they need to recognize their misconceptions about themselves and their peers, change their mindset from one of judgement to one of curiosity, and become confident members of society.
Equanimous Self
Equanimity comes from understanding yourself. So much of what we do is a reaction to conditioning in our brains from our genes, our childhood experiences, our culture, and intense adult experiences (trauma). This program will help you look inward, connect your body and mind together, and live from a place of thought and consideration rather than just reaction. From this place of equanimity, you will find problems easier to deal with, joy easier to find, and a life of contentment.
Equanimous Leader
Once you master yourself, then you can focus outwards. Equanimous Leader is an outward intention of Equanimity. Leadership is not a position, or being in charge. Leadership is about inspiring and influencing others to achieve common goals. Anyone can be a Leader. Whether you are already in a leadership role, an aspiring leader or just wanting to lead by example.
Let's find follow the path to the genuine your self.
